Remember to take time and relax

Sometimes we all get stuck in "work mode". But it's important to take time and relax. Here's a little story of my first time at a spa!

I know a lot of people, including myself, who forget to take time, relax, and have fun. I'm still practicing it, but it's important to keep a good work / life balance.

Over the last few years, I've been trying to learn new ways to relax, and have fun, and last month, I happened to be messaging a great old friend who was going to a spa.

I'd never been to a spa before, so I decided to ask if she would take me for my first time.

My first time at a spa!

Firstly, can I just say WOW, and secondly, if you haven't been to a spa, book a spot now.

The first thing we did was hop into one of the roasty, toasty spas. Within 10 minutes of the jets massaging me, my muscles fell apart, and I forgot all my problems, haha.

And that wasn't even the best part. There were 2 saunas; one was a steam room and the other was more like a lodge style sauna with a wood fire - this was intense.

I preferred the steam room sauna myself; I didn't notice until I left the sauna area, but my lungs felt amazing. Not to mention all the stress just melted away.

I loved the experience so much, I've added it to my monthly calendar as a way to relax and reset for the next month.

Don't forget!

Our health is important; be kind to yourself.

A huge thank you to everyone at and the artists who give people free access to beautiful images.
